Working with cutting edge technology and research methods, the scientific team at Berger is at your service to conduct a wide range of laboratory analysis
Our researchers conduct microbiological analysis, as well as analysis of water quality, nutritive solutions, substrate, leaf tissues, and the physical properties of substrates. Water analysis Water analysis is the first step toward quality production. Any new source of water should be analyzed before use. Irrigation water should also be analyzed atleast once a year. Analysis of nutritive solutions This analysis is recommended to verify the condition of injectors and to detect the true composition of nutritive solutions. Analysis of substrate An analysis of the substrate reveals a plant’s nutritional condition. This is vital information for horticultural production. Tissue Analysis In conjunction with an analysis of the substrate, tissue analysis gives the complete details of a plant’s nutritional condition. Physical analysis The primary physical properties of any substrate are its capacity to retain air and its degree of water retention, two determining factors in pot and tray production. Microbiological analysis If we suspect that a plant is infected, microbiological analysis allows us to isolate, purify and identify the microorganism involved. The results we obtain help us choose the most appropriate treatment.
